Sunrise & Wildlife Morning Trek
Phu Quoc has two main diving areas: North and South.
- North: Sheltered, good for beginners, limited dive sites.
- South: More exposed, better diving with various sites, but conditions can change quickly.
General:
- Shallow diving (10-12 meters)

- Water temperature: 28-31 degrees

- Minimum Age: 10 years old for certification, 8 years old for shallow water experience.

- Certification Duration: Lifetime, but a refresher dive is recommended after a year of inactivity.
- Photos and Videos: Yes, your instructor will take photos and videos during the Open Water course.
- Safety: Scuba diving is safe with proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
- Courses Offered: Ocean Sound offers PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and various specialty courses.
- Course Costs: Course fees vary, with Open Water starting around 440$.

Itinerary Details
- 4:00 AM – Hotel pick-up Depart from your hotel in Duong Dong and travel by car to the foothills of Tien Son Peak, located within the Phu Quoc National Park. Your guide will brief you on the route, safety, and the rich biodiversity of the area.
- 4:30 AM – Begin the hike to Tien Son Peak (1.5 hours) Start your guided trek under the starlit sky. The path leads you through ancient trees, cool forest air, and the soft sounds of nature waking up. Short breaks along the way allow you to enjoy the tranquility of the jungle before dawn.
- 5:45 AM – Sunrise at the summit Reach Tien Son Peak (about 300m elevation) just in time to witness the first light over the island, painting the sea and forest in shades of gold and pink. Enjoy this magical moment with a warm cup of coffee or tea prepared by your guide.
- 6:30 AM – Morning wildlife walk (1.5 hours) Descend slowly while exploring another forest trail where early morning is perfect for spotting tropical birds, butterflies, macaques, and squirrels. The forest is full of life as the day begins.
- 8:00 AM – Return to hotel Arrive back at the park entrance and transfer to your hotel.
- Expected arrival: 8:30 – 9:00 AM, feeling refreshed and inspired by the morning wilderness of Phu Quoc.
